This was the inaugural issue of Kaló Taxídi and was emailed to subscribers during September 2023.

It included:

  • ten book recommendations set at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (including novels, creative non-fiction works and children's books);
  • five of my favourite bookshops close to the Met;
  • Met inspiration; and
  • Blue Umbrella, an original flash fiction piece (inspired by The Met, Jackie O and 'Blue Umbrella II' by Alex Katz).
